Landlords, follow these 5 Keys to having a Successful Rental Ad campaign…

We all know that every Landlord wants to advertise their rental vacancy and fill it within days.  How you write your rental listing, the information you provide, and where you advertise makes a huge difference.

We’ve identified the following 5 Key Criteria to make your Rental Listing a SUCCESS:

  1. Include Multiple Photos – upload a listing without any photos gives you almost a 100% chance that an interested renter WILL NOT CLICK your ad. Best case scenario, upload more than one so it doesn’t look like you’re hiding anything.
  2. Include your rental property’s Physical Address – renters like to know exactly where they’ll be living.  Google Maps provides a lot of great information for renters.
  3. Provide an Easy Way for the Renter to Contact you – Rental Househunter has this feature built in. When a renter comes across your listing, they will be able to send you an inquiry directly from your ad.
  4. Price your Rental Property Competitively – research what other Property Managers are charging.  Here’s a Free Tool to get you started.  It shows what the Average Rental Price in your location charges per bedroom.… and lastly and most important.
  5. Get your Rental Ad in front of as many Potential Renter’s eyes as you can! – Have you turned on “Rental-BOOST” for your ad? Have you listed your Rental Ad as a Featured Listing to appear above all others? Have you linked to your rental property listing from Craigslist.org or Oodle.com?

Once you set-up your Rental Ad on Rental Househunter, follow our built-in steps to quickly fill your vacancy and start reaping the rewards!
